We contributed towards Te Tari Take/Inland Revenues art theme for Te Wiki o te Reo Maaori/Maaori Language Week See our mahi toi/art hanging in their window. The greys and
blues represent the skyline of Māwhera, Ranginui, the sky father. The blue/
purple represents Māwhera river, and the greens represent the lush bush, Papatuanuku the Earth mother. The kupu come
from our weekly school newsletter as part of our whole school participation in
Te Wiki o te Reo Māori/ Māori Language Week 2014 – Te Kupu o te Wiki/The word
of the week.
